Who are we?
So many names and acronyms are used on this site, so just what do they all mean? We'll make it easier for you to follow with the following information:
- Listservs and Projects: On the right hand side of every page you'll find links to pages describing each of our e-mail discussion lists (otherwise known as listservs) and our special projects. These pages should provide you with all the information you need on our services/projects. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask us through our Contact Us link.
- Victim Assistance Online: Victim Assistance Online, or VAOnline.org for short, is the web presence and point of service delivery for the services and projects provided through Victim Assistance Online Resources (Windsor) Inc. It includes not only our own projects, but encompasses our contact networks and membership; thus, VAOnline.org isn't a single office, but a portal into the offices of hundreds or organizations, agencies, institutions and private services around the globe.
- VAOR: Victim Assistance Online Resources: The Canadian-registed non-profit organization through which we provide VAOnline.org's services and projects.
