The Administrative staff, services, equipment, servers and other technology used to run and maintain this Project are all geographically located within the national boundaries of Canada, and thus fall under Canada's Personal Information Privacy and Electronic Documents Act, as well as Canada's Privacy Act,

The Project does not collect personal information on our users without their knowledge or consent. We do not sell the e-mail addresses, web addresses or personal information of our users to marketing or sales companies of any kind.

Information submitted through our Crime Victim Advocate, Hosting Agency and National Coordinating Agency forms are transmitted through encrypted SSL links upon submission and retrieval.  Submitting an Exchange, Visitation or Hosting request through these forms authorizes the Project Administration to share background and agency information from the submitted form with Coordinating Agencies in appropriate countries.

Personal identifying information submitted through these forms -- defined as: personal name; personal land street address; personal telephone number(s); personal fax number(s), and personal e-mail address(es) -- is held in complete confidentiality by the Project Administration and is not released without the express authorization of the submitter.
