Criminal Crisis Response Initiative: The Criminal Crisis Response Initiative project (CCRI) is a community-based, multi-disciplinary, inter-agency, assessment and planning process. This facilitated process assists communities in the design, development and implementation of a long-range plan for the establishment of a formal collaborative of their victims service providers. The intent of this collaborative is to coordinate the delivery of resources and services to victims of an act of criminal mass victimization (CMV) such as the Oklahoma City bombing and Littleton, CO high school shootings.

Criminal Justice / Mental Health Consensus Project: The Criminal Justice / Mental Health Consensus Project is a national effort coordinated by the Council of State Governments (CSG) to help local, state, and federal policymakers and criminal justice and mental health professionals improve the response to people with mental illness who become involved in, or are at risk of involvement in, the criminal justice system. The Consensus Project promotes practical, flexible approaches to this issue through educational presentations, technical assistance, and the dissemination of information about programs, research, and policy developments in the field. The Consensus Project Web site provides access to the Project Report, information about relevant research, statistics, and Web-based resources, and a directory of program profiles from around the country, which allows visitors to communicate with program administrators online. Their Report formed the basis for the creation of this project.

Nonprofit Genie: This nonprofit organization information center contains a wealth of information, research, suggestions, tips and links of interest to those working in or managing nonprofit services.
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) Encryptor: PGP is a well known encryption program for those who are worried about sending confidential or private information by e-mail. It's functions allow a message to be coded to the point where even government cryptographic specialists can't decode it; also, a special "fingerprint" can be added to normal documents so that the receiver can be sure the message was not forged/intercepted (the receiver must also be using PGP and know the sender's public code). Be warned that the US government has placed an embargo on the PGP software being distributed outside the continental US and Canada. The program found on this link has full services for 30 days, after which some functions cease working unless the program is paid for. The basic program still works even without these functions, and is useful in this state.
Victim Services Strategic Planning Toolkit: Under a grant from the Office for Victims of Crime, NAVAA conducted the "NAVAA Training for Strategic Planning" project. This project provided training and technical assistance to six states/territories pursuing victim services' strategic planning. The linked materials were utilized in the project and have been supplemented with additional information and materials to assist all states in their strategic planning efforts.

Nonprofit Risk Management Center: This site is devoted to helping nonprofit organizations manage risks better, so as to allow them to focus on their clients and missions. Risk management is defined as managing resources properly, protecting clients and safeguarding assets. On site you'll find online archived versions of their newsletter "Risk Management and Insurance", a listing of available publications and more.

Nonprofit's Policy and Technology Talk Homepage: NPTALK is an electronic forum for professionals, experts, researchers, and advocates interested in the issues related to how nonprofit organizations utilize information technologies in their public policy activities. This site includes searchable databases of discussions, as well as a topical breakdown of the same, plus links of interest.
State Department Exchange Visitor Program: Through the Exchange Visitor Program, foreign nationals may visit the United States temporarily to teach, lecture, study, observe, conduct research, consult, train, or demonstrate special skills. Designated sponsoring organizations facilitate the entry of foreign nationals into the United States to complete the objectives of any one of 13 program categories. At the conclusion of their program, participants are expected to return to their home countries.

US Office for Victims of Crime National Conference Support Program: The Office for Victims of Crime created the National Conference Support Program to support the efforts of public or private, non-profit organizations hosting national conferences on victims' issues. Support will be made available on a competitive basis to eligible organizations.

Well, this free online service acts as a virtual intranet, allowing you to share files, calendars, etc. Free of charge, there may be some security concerns, but it could be an extremely useful service for non-confidential projects.
