We need your help to continue supplying our services!

As hard as we work to keep costs down -- we are an all-volunteer organization, working strictly through the Internet for cost-effective communications --there are still large fees we have to meet for administrative and online services, as well as the technology and software acquisition and upgrades required to continue our work.

We can't do this without you!

Incorporated as an Canadian non-profit, non-share corporation in 1997 under the legal name of Victim Assistance Online Resources (Windsor) Inc., but of course much more commonly known through our website names of Victim Assistance Online or VAOnline.org, we are totally dependent on donations for our operating funds. 

Donations

We gratefully accept any donations an individual, company or organization which wishes to make donations, whether cash or in-kind.   As a non-profit, non-share corporation, we cannot provide charitable tax receipts. 

At this time we are working on arranging an online donation system. Until this is established, please contact us through our secure contact form for details on donating.

Supporting Memberships

In order to help us continue to supply our services, including, but not limited to: our website link directories; contact networks; and other cooperative projects, we are now offering Supporting Memberships to both individuals and agencies/organizations which wish to support our efforts.

Individual Supporting Memberships

Individual Supporting Memberships are donations in specific amounts from single individuals or families which wish to support our efforts.

Suggested Donations for Individual Memberships:

• Student / Senior: $15 US / year


• Adult: $25 US / year


• Gold: $50+ US / year:  Entitles the individual to have their title and contact information posted on our "Supporting Individuals" page)

Organizational Supporting Memberships

Organizational Supporting Memberships are donations in specific amounts from agencies, businesses,companies, educational institutions, governments or organizations which wish to support our efforts, for which the organizations receive certain opportunities.

Suggested Donations for Organizational Supporting Memberships:

• Basic: $50 US / year: You receive the thanks of VAOnline.org and our users!


• Copper: $100+ US / year: Entitles the organization to have their contact information to listed on our "Supporting Organizations" thank-you section.


• Silver: $200+ US / year: Entitles the organization to place a banner graphic on our "Supporting Organization " page) $50+ Cdn / year. 


• Gold: $300+ US / year: Available only to accepted and registered members of our Contact Networks as a special reward for participating in our Networks. 
  
  Advertising: The Gold Organizational Supporting Membership entitles the organization to all the above, plus they can request up to 5 advertising slots (on the right and left columns of each webpage) per year on specific pages of our site for promoting their events, projects, activities, programs, services, etc.  Gold Members should contact us to make a request for advertising space on specific pages.
  
  For every $50 US / year over the base $300 Gold Supporting membership suggested donation, the organization can request an extra ad slot per year;  e.g. a $500 donation would give the organization 7 slot requests per year.
  
  The ads can be simple text or graphics, but size is regulated.  Ads will run for up to three months, with an automatic removal date of three months from posting.  Requests for an ad slot can be renewed. Ads will be placed in each column (top to bottom) in the order they are received / renewed. Supporting Organization's advertising will always run above Google ads, unless otherwise requested.
  
  Disclaimer: Victim Assistance Online Resources takes no responsibility for the content of ads posted on our site. Your donation gives your organization the right to request advertising slots on specific pages;  this is asking us to see if space is available, it is not an absolute purchasing those slots / positions.  We reserve the right to refuse to run any ad, to remove an ad, or to move/place an ad on a different page, at any time, as we deem fit. Our site provides information and networking sources to victim assistance professions;  advertising will not become our primary business, thus we reserve the right to set the number of ads per page as we deem necessary and congruent with our mandate.
  
  We reserve the right to place ads or other announcements for ourselves, or specific organizations, agencies, groups or events as a public service, or as we deem fit.
