May, 2008.  We are pleased to announce the launching of our Research Volunteer Program. See this page for details on volunteer opportunities with VAOnline.org.

A new section has been added to our link directories, by request of our users. Victim Rights Advocacy: Starting Grassroots Organizations provides information on how to start an advocacy program, how to collaborate with others, and how to manage and evaluate such a project.

April, 2008: A new section has been added to our link directories by request of our users. 
Elder Abuse and Family Violence now has it's own section, having been split off from the Domestic Violence area, and extensive new links to organizations and online documents have been added.

The Conferences and Events page has also been updated.

2007: Due to requests by numerous users, the Virtual Library has been updated to conform to mechanical library cataloging sort parameters. All Library links are now organized alphabetically by the first word, with grammatical articles such as "A", "An" and "The" being moved to the end of the title, thus:

New "Internet Media" page:  Blogs, Discussion Forums, Listservs, Audio Podcasts and Videos

In order to take full advantage of multimedia formats available through the Internet, we've established a new page where you such resources can be easily located: Internet Media .

It will take time to flesh out this new section, but I we think you'll find it useful, informative and thought-provoking.
